your local pipe band!! Place your vote for your favourite pipe band and you could be the lucky winner of one of three sterling silver necklaces. The pipe band with the most support at the end of the contest period will receive a prize to be used to raise funds. Full details... July 1 - The winner of the second necklace is Bonnie Gordon of Wellington, Ohio. Bonnie cast her vote for the Celtic Eagle Pipe Band. The draw for the third necklace will take place on September 1, 2009. The winning bands will also be announced on that date. Current standings can be found on the contest page. May 8, 2009 - The winner of the first necklace is Cathy Hart. Her vote was in support of the Celtic Eagle Pipe Band. |

"B in the Park" - 6th annual pipe band concert being held on Thursday, July 30 at Confederation Park in downtown Ottawa. Joining with the Sons of Scotland Pipe Band will be two bands from the St. Andrew's Society of Winnipeg. There will be a beer and whisky tent as well as door prizes including a set of McCallum bagpipes and a kilt. Click here for more information |
